February 20th, 2011 - Giantec Semiconductor Inc. announces that GT5010 is in volume production, a AC-DC controller designed for AC-LED lighting, charger, adapter, home appliances, auxiliary power and the controller application. GT5010 is one of the new power management device in Giantec’s focus product in addition to the current EERPOM memory and smart card product portfolio.
GT5010 utilizes the latest primary side (PSR) control transformer technology, which can drive external high power MOSFET device. The constant current and constant voltage characteristics is less than the range ±5%. Low standby power consumption is 30mW or less. Power conversion efficiency meets the latest “EPS2.0” standard. The GT5010 is packed in SOT23-6. Additionally, its operating temperature range is from-40C to +85C with thermal protection. These features make GT5010 become one of the best LED lighting solutions for isolation and non-isolation options of 3W, 5W and 7W power, which suit high reliable and low cost for MR16, E14, E27 and GU10 types. |
